Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of vetivr. (“vetivr”, “we”, “us”), operated by Vetivr Fragrance LLC. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, do not use vetivr.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing vetivr. through any platform (web, mobile, or API), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using vetivr. on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Section 02

Accounts & Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@vetivr.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account, create accounts for others without authorization, or use vetivr. for any purpose other than your personal, non-commercial fragrance journaling and discovery.

Section 03

Subscriptions & Billing

vetivr. offers a free tier and paid Pro subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Pro: $7.99/month or $59/year. Cancel any time.
• Founding Member: introductory pricing locked for life, available to first 500 members only.
• All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.
• Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact hello@vetivr.com within 7 days of a charge.

Subscription management, upgrades, and cancellations are handled via the Stripe customer portal, accessible from your account settings.

Section 04

Free Plan Limitations

The free tier allows up to 20 fragrances in your collection and provides access to core journaling and Vault features. Features marked as Pro — including the Scent Discovery engine and full journal insights — are reserved for paid subscribers. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits with reasonable notice.

Section 05

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use vetivr. for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from vetivr. in bulk without written permission.
• Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Section 06

Affiliate Disclosure

vetivr. participates in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, ShareASale (FragranceNet), Rakuten (Sephora, Nordstrom), and Impact (Ulta). When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our fragrance data, editorial content, or recommendations. vetivr. does not accept payment from brands to promote specific fragrances.

Section 07

Intellectual Property

All vetivr. branding, product design, and original content are owned by Vetivr Fragrance LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Fragrance data is sourced from licensed third-party databases and is subject to their respective terms.

Content you create in vetivr. — journal entries, collection notes, ratings — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within your account.

Section 08

Limitation of Liability

vetivr. is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vetivr Fragrance LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including data loss or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Section 09

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to paid features ceases immediately. Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Section 10

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of vetivr. after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Section 11

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington State.
